INK IT CUTE-ICLE

Rihanna sparks new trend for painful-looking CUTICLE tattoos – so would you get one?

WE’VE seen our fair share of unusual tattoo trends, but it seems the latest cool place to get an inking is on your CUTICLES.

Inspired by stars like Rihanna, Cara Delevigne and Demi Lovato, people have been getting intricate designs etched below their nails.

Rihanna got her tribal-inspired cuticle tattoos back in October 2013

RiRi unveiled her unusual tribal inkings on each finger of her right hand back in October 2013.

The cuticles are a pretty painful spot, as anyone who’s ever had a splinter there will confirm, but the trend is certainly taking off.

Several enthusiasts who have gone under the needle have shared their designs on social media, and we have to admit many of them do look pretty cool.

Many people have opted for dainty dot designs, while others have gone for geometric patterns, henna-inspired drawings and words.

WHAT WERE THEY INKING?! There’s a bizarre new trend for CAMEL TOE tattoos… but it may not be quite what you think

For those who love the idea but don’t fancy the painful needle session – or the price tag – some nail salons have created their own temporary cuticle tattoos.

Some Instagram users have opted for metallic gold and artistic nail stamps to recreate the look.

Earlier this month we revealed the bizarre way getting a tattoo could affect how you SWEAT.

Meanwhile these secret celebrity tattoos have to be seen to be believed… from Cher’s bum art to Dame Judi’s birthday inking.
