Trendy trousers that feature more flesh than fabric are this season’s hottest look…. but are you brave enough to try it?
Our model takes on this season’s trendiest trousers - which feature even more flesh than fabric
RIPPED jeans just got torn a new one. This season’s trendiest trousers now feature even more flesh than fabric.
The catwalk has recently been full of extreme designs — such as cut out pockets, lacing all up the front and even legs attached by suspenders.
Model Gigi Hadid, 22, wore a pair of sexy chaps earlier this year by designer brand Y-Project that cost £423
But the high street is catching on, with Asos and Topshop the latest to offer bizarre (but affordable) styles.
So is this style fad pure jean-ius, or just another hole lot of nonsense?
Here, SIOBHAN O’CONNOR asks north London model Isadora Amorim, 26, to try the radical styles and give her verdict on them, and a mark out of ten.
Exposed bum cheek - 2/10
My bum is on display, I can’t bend over without revealing too much. I just don’t understand the style.
Thigh-high - 4/10
I guess the braces mean you actually get two styles in one. But I’m worried they will come undone with fast walking.
Front lace-up - 3/10
I’ve had to go commando. The material is really comfortable but the lacing is too racy and a nightmare to do up, too.

Pocket cut-out - 9/10
If you don’t mind flashing a slither of flesh, these are a stylish option. You still have to give up your knickers though.
Side lace-up - 2/10
I feel naked. I can’t wear knickers and you can almost see my bum. Not exactly comfy either. But blue looks less racy.
Suspender-style - 2/10
They remind me of Julia Robert’s dress in Pretty Woman. Quite flattering but I’m not keen on the leather-look effect.
