Aldi is selling heart-shaped chicken nuggets this Valentine’s Day

ALDI is selling "love nuggets" this February, perfect for getting in the Valentine's Day mood.

The breaded chicken nuggets, which are shaped like hearts, cost £1.99 for a pack of 20.

That seems like an absolute bargain - working out at just 10p a nugget, but you're still paying a premium for the heart shape.

Aldi is also selling 30 normal-shaped .

That works out at 4p a nugget, less than half the cost of the Valentine's special.

Half a pack of the Love Nuggets works out as 504 calories, contains 29g of fat, but just 1.1g of sugar.

The nuggets are part of Aldi's Valentine's Day meal deal, where you can get three courses and a side for well under £10.

Morrisons and Asda are selling their Valentine's Day meal deals for £15, while Tesco's and M&S' version are pricier setting you back £20.

Other mains available at Aldi include Sirloin steaks with pink peppercorn butter for £5.99, or duck breast portions for £3.19.

There's more romantically themed fare available too, as Aldi is also selling heart-shaped pancakes.

The mini pancakes cost £1.49 for a 300g pack.

Even the salmon has got in the spirit as it comes with heart-shaped butter.

The nuggets, as well as all Aldi's other Valentine's Day offerings will be on shelves from Tuesday, February 11th.

Aldi won't be restocking so you may need to be quick to get in on the action.
