Lidl recalls ten flavours of baby food pouches as they may contain mould
LIDL has recalled pouches of baby food over fears they could contain mould and are unsafe to eat.
The supermarket has pulled ten different flavours from their Lupilu organic baby food range.
Shoppers who’ve bought one of the affected products are being urged not to give them to their baby.
Instead, customers should return them to their nearest Lidl store for a full refund.
In a posted on the supermarket's website, Lidl says customers won’t need a receipt to return the baby food.
Products from the Lupilu organic range that have been recalled include stage one fruit pouches, stage one fruit and veg pouches and stage one apple pouches.

CUSTOMERS are being advised to return the following products to their nearest Lidl store.
- Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit Pouches, Stage One: All Variants, 120g (Apples & Strawberries; Bananas & Apples; Bananas & Peaches) - all batch numbers and best before dates
- Lupilu Organic Baby Fruit & Veg Pouches, Stage One: All Variants, 120g (Apples, Carrots & Parsnips; Butternut Squash, Apples, Carrots & Prunes; Sweet Potato, Pumpkin, Apples & Blueberries) - all batch numbers and best before dates
- Lupilu Organic Baby Apple Pouches, Stage One: Organic Apple, five x 90g - all batch numbers and best before dates
- Lupilu Organic Baby Breakfast Pouches, Stage Two: All Variants, 100g (Banana Yoghurt with Oats & Rice; Banana, Blueberries & Rice; Mango Yoghurt with Oats & Rice) - all batch numbers and best before dates
Stage two breakfast pouches have also been removed from shelves.
The recall includes all batch numbers and best before dates for these products.
No other Lupilu items have been pulled and are therefore safe to eat.
Lidl says recall notices will now be placed in all stores which sell the affected Lupilu range.
The supermarket said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above mentioned products due to the potential presence of mould in the product.
"Lidl GB wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Other recalls to watch out for include Iceland's Chinese takeaway "banquet" ready meal which has been pulled over allergy fears.
Meanwhile, Muller yogurts sold in supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl and Tesco have been recalled as they may contain METAL.
And Tesco is recalling Cow & Gate baby food over fears the jars may have been tampered with.
