Iceland recalls several vegan products as they contain milk
ICELAND has recalled several of its vegan products because they contain milk.
This means that the meals are no longer suitable for vegans, and that they may be harmful to anyone with a milk or lactose allergy.
The products that have been recalled are:
- No Porkies Sausages (eight pack)
- No Bull Bolognese (350g)
- No Porkies Sausage Rolls (six pack)
All packages of each of the three items including all best before dates and all batch codes have been recalled.
They were on sale at Iceland for £2 per pack.
No other Iceland vegan products are known to be affected.
The supermarket has posted recall notices in its stores and the products are no longer available online.
The Food Standards Agency has also said that it should contact the relevant allergy organisations.
If you have bought one of the recalled packs, you can return it to any Iceland store for a full refund.
You don't need the receipt to get your money back.
If you have an allergy to milk or any milk constituents, the FSA is warning that you shouldn't eat the products.
If someone with an allergy has consumed the products, you should seek medical advice.
If you have any concerns or queries you can contact your local store manager or call the Iceland customer care line on 0800 328 0800.
Once you have dialled you will need to select option three.
