How do I sign up to Disney+? Subscription cost and how can I get money off

DISNEY fans can now sign up to the company’s new streaming service.

Disney+ kicked off in March 2020 and with plenty of movies and shows for your enjoyment.

How much does Disney + cost?

At £59.99 per year, Disney+ works out to be £5 per month. You .

Disney is also offering fans the option to pay monthly, but that will cost £5.99 a month - or £71.88 over a year.

So to get money off the best option is the yearly one-off payment -  but just be aware that if you sign up for the annual subscription, you are charged the full amount immediately and your will be renewed exactly 12 months later at the standard price unless you actively cancel beforehand.

You can cancel your annual subscription at any time, although you will not get a refund for any months you haven't used.

What is Disney+?

The new service is where Disney will show new releases first, as well as .

It also has a huge back-catalogue which has garnered it a massive 54.5million subscriptions as of May 2020.

It includes programming from across Disney’s brands, including Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

There are more than 1,000 movies, series and originals available.

The critically acclaimed Star Wars series The Mandalorian was available on launch, plus a remake of Disney’s Lady And The Tramp, Marvel’s Hero Project and The World According To Jeff Goldblum.

Other classic films such as Snow White are also be available.

You will be able to download whatever you want to watch to view at a later date.

On Disney Life at the moment there are more than 450 movies and over 5,000 Disney TV episodes.

Movies include Frozen, Finding Nemo, and The Lion King.

Other perks include 7,500 Disney music tracks and 10 per cent off at the Disney Store - although while there is some music available on the new service, it isn't yet clear how much.

The discount in store has also been scrapped on Disney+.

What's new on Disney+?

As well as its HUGE back catalogue of Disney films, Marvel Movies, Touchstone films AND The Simpsons episodes, Disney+ is constantly bringing new content.

New to Disney+ in July 2020 includes Frozen 2.

Theatre show Hamilton is also on the site now.
