The tasting notes for the drink say that it's sweet and best served loaded with citrus fruits and over ice.

The tropical tipple has been infused with the fruit so it still pretty strong at 40 per cent ABV, the same as straight vodka.

This is different to spirits that have been mixed with flavour, such as passion fruit gins, which makes them weaker in terms of alcohol content.

The drink comes in 700ml bottles and will sit on shelves alongside other flavours from the brand, such as raspberry, vanilla and mango.

How many units are in my alcohol?

THE amount of units in a drink depends upon the size and the strength of the alcohol.

A quick way of working out how many units in a drink is multiplying the strength of the alcohol by the volume in millilitres, then divide by 1,000.

For example wine at 12 per cent in a 750ml bottle would have ten units in it.

Roughly, this is how many units you can expect your favourite tipple to contain:

  • Standard glass of wine - 2.1 units
  • Pint of low strength beer - 2 units
  • Pint of high strength beer - 3 units
  • Bottle of lager - 1.7 units
  • Can of lager - 2 units
  • Alcopop - 1.5 units
  • Single spirit and mixer - 1 unit

You'll also be getting it for a bargain as it's £4 cheaper than the other flavours, which cost £20 each.

In fact, you'll only save money on a bottle of Absolute vodka if you opt for an original one, which costs £15.

But the Absolut version is cheaper than the same flavour vodka offered by SKKY, which will cost you an expensive £21 for the same size bottle.

The drink is currently being sold exclusively at Asda so you'll need to head to your nearest store to pick one up as they're not available to buy online.

There are 631 Asda stores across the UK and you can find your .

If you're not fussed by the brand, you can save money by opting for a bottle of Glen's passion fruit and peach vodka, that will set you back just £14 from Morrisons or Tesco.

Typically, a shot of vodka contains 64 calories and one alcohol unit - men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units a week.

Of course, remember to always drink responsibly. You can find out more information on the website.

If you're a fan of passion fruit, then you might want to head to Tesco where you can pick up a two-litre box of fruity martini and it costs the same as nine cans.

Even Nando's is getting on board with the trend as it announced that it is replacing the mango and lime baste and replacing it with mango and passion fruit.

But the decision has left some fans "fuming and distraught", even though it's only supposed to be around for four months.
