Where can I buy toilet paper during the coronavirus outbreak?
SUPERMARKET supplies have been ransacked as worried shoppers stock-up to self-isolate, but here's where you might be able to get your hands on toilet roll.
Retailers are currently facing a rise in demand for certain products unprecedented outside of the Christmas period, says the British Retail Consortium.

This is largely limited to hygiene, health and longer shelf-life food products, according to the trade body, but it adds that retailers are working with suppliers to increase the supply of goods.
And despite concerns, we found there are still places where you can stock up on the everyday essential of toilet roll.
Of course, if you buy online, check minimum spends and delivery fees as retailers will usually set limits on how much you have to spend.
Delivery slots may also have sold out weeks in advance, with shoppers saying it's harder to get an order online than at Christmas.
When your delivery does come, bear in mind it may be heavily substituted with similar items where what you've ordered has since gone out of stock.
And ensure you let your supermarket know if you're self isolating when you order so it can take extra precautions.
We've also only included the major online retailers, so it's worth checking your local and , convenience stores such as , as well as smaller and independent corner shops.
If you're still able to go to the supermarket, you're likely to have more luck first thing in the morning after it's re-stocked overnight.
You can also ask local stores when they typically re-stock.
But don't buy more than you need - we've compiled a guide to how much you need to stockpile to help.
Amazon
We could only find one pack of branded toilet roll that hadn't sold out on Amazon - a - a whopping £3.99 a roll - but there's no delivery fee.
Amazon is also selling various novelty toilet roll, feature US President Donald Trump's face, for example, so it's worth checking if you get desperate.
Asda
Asda's website shows it as having lots of toilet roll in stock, but it's only when you login you'll find exactly what's available in your nearest depot.
When we checked a London postcode there was only one toilet roll left in-stock online - an 18-pack of Andrex Classic Clean rolls for £9.25 making it 51p a roll.

Previously, Asda was rationing hand sanitiser only to two per person online and in stores - we've asked it to confirm this is still the case.
B&M
B&M's website says it's selling a nine-pack of Triple Softy Quilted toilet roll for just £1.99 - or just 22p a pack.
But you can't order online at B&M and the retailer says it can't comment on stock levels in store.

Boots
Boots usually sells a four-pack of own brand Soft White Toilet Tissue for £2 online, making it 50p a roll.
It says it's out of stock online, although currently has availability in some stores.
The high street chain adds that it also has stock in the supply chain so there will be more rolls available in the next few days.

Home Bargains
Home Bargains doesn't have any toilet roll currently on sale online, and it wouldn't tell us if there's stock in store either.

Iceland
Iceland's website shows stock based on your address so availability may differ depending on where you live.
When we checked without entering an address there were no packs available online and only one showing as available in store - a four-pack of Petal Soft toilet tissue for £1.50 or 38p a roll.
But the frozen food specialist told us stock is being replenished in store and online, although you are limited to buying four packs at a time.

Morrisons
Morrisons had three toilet roll options available when we checked online - an own-brand four-roll pack for £1.70 (42p a roll), a four-pack of Andrex Skin Kind for £2.25 (56p a roll), and a four-pack of Andrex Gentle Clean for £2.50 (62p a roll).
Plus, when we entered a London address an 18-pack of Andrex also became available for £9 (50p each) - so it seems stock varies by location.

Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's didn't appear to be out of stock of toilet roll when we initially checked its website, and on logging into a London address there was still full availability.
The cheapest pack was an own-brand four-pack for £1.90 or 22p a roll. Alternatively, you could get toilet paper for as little as 12p a roll with a House 247 nine-pack.
We've asked Sainsbury's if there's stock in store and if there are limits on how many you can buy, but when we checked online we were limited to two packs.
It says stock is constantly being replenished in store and online.
You can use Sainsbury's to find your nearest, as well as its to check availability.
Superdrug
Superdrug still has online stock of its own-brand toilet roll with a four-pack setting you back £2.50 (28p each).
You can also check for stock in your local store online - there were none available in a south London location when we checked.
There doesn't appear to be a limit on how many you can buy online but don't unnecessarily stockpile and prevent others from being able to get their hands on it.
Tesco
When you login to Tesco the stock shown will vary depending on where you live. When we checked a London address there were a handful of toilet rolls in stock.
The cheapest was a four-pack of Andrex Aloe Vera for £2.75 (43p a sheet) or you could pay less per roll for a nine-pack of Cushelle at £8.50 (26p).

Tesco says stock availability will vary by store, but adds that it's replenishing online and in store on a daily basis.
Customers are also limited to two packs of toilet roll per person, regardless of pack size.
