Aldi limits toilet roll and nappies to two per person as panic-buying continues to hit shops
ALDI shoppers will now be limited to two each of nappies, toilet roll and kitchen roll.
The supermarket has announced the restrictions to try to prevent people from panic buying as they self-isolate from coronavirus.

Until now, the supermarket has restricted shoppers to four each of most items in store, which will largely remain in place.
There are no limits on non-food Specialbuys, Easter products and fresh flowers.
Supermarkets are introducing widespread rationing for the first time since World War Two due to the coronavirus epidemic hitting the UK.
Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Asda have all set a limit of three for any item and two for essential products, such as toilet roll and handwash.

Online grocer Ocado has even removed its app temporarily and its website until Saturday due to demand from shoppers for online deliveries.
It comes as Aldi will today become the latest supermarket to close stores early to give staff more time to stock shelves.
The discounter will close shops from 8pm from this Friday onwards.
Stores are normally open until 10pm Monday to Saturday.

It adds that Sunday opening hours remain the same at 10am to 4pm, or 10am to 6pm in Scotland.
Aldi says the ";temporary change" will be in place until further notice.
It's also revealed it's hiring 9,000 more staff to cope with coronavirus related demand.
