TK Maxx reopens website for orders and deliveries

TK MAXX has reopened its website for orders and deliveries - although it’s limiting the number it takes each day.

The retailer had paused orders from its website last month as it tried to keep its staff safe during the coronavirus crisis.

But it has now reopened its website, having put extra measures in place.

TK Maxx is implementing social distancing inside its warehouses, has improved its cleaning and has given staff equipment to stay safe.

It also said it would be limiting the number of people working at any one time so staff can remain two metres away from one another.

But this may mean it has to limit the number of customer orders it can take each day.

“If we reach this daily limit, our customers will still be able to browse, but won’t be able to add to basket or place any orders,” it said on its website.

“We’ll be ready to take orders again the next day, so do come back and visit us.”

The retailer did not say what the daily cap on orders will be.

As its 349 UK stores are still currently closed, you are not able to order for click and collect, only for home delivery.

And TK Maxx warned that deliveries might take longer than usual.

It is not currently offering a next day delivery service and standard delivery times might be slightly different.

Like other retailers, TK Maxx is offering contactless delivery, where the driver will leave the package on your doorstep and move away.

Fashion chain Next made a similar move earlier this month, reopening its website for limited orders.
