Wickes announces 105 stores to open from tomorrow as part of phased reopening

WICKES is set to reopen 105 stores from tomorrow as it begins a phased reopening of a majority of its shops.

The roll-out follows the successful trial opening of six stores which implemented new social distancing measures.

The stores will operate shorter opening hours on Monday to Saturday, opening at either 7am or 8am and closing at 4pm or 5pm.

While Sunday trading hours remain the same at 10am to 4pm.

The retailer has more than 230 stores across the UK. It couldn't say when the rest of its stores will open their doors when contacted by The Sun today.

Wickes' website remains open for business, with click and collect and home delivery still running.

The phased reopening comes after B&Q reopened all branches to customers last week.

Homebase also reopened all stores in the beginning of May with extra social distancing measures in place.
