Morrisons is selling a food box with 135 portions of fruit and veg for £22
MORRISONS has rolled out a food box with 135 portions of fruit and vegetables for just £22.
The box weighs a whopping 11kg and should help the whole family eat their 5-a-day during the course of a week.
It comes with next-day home delivery, meaning vulnerable, elderly or self-isolating Brits don't need to leave their home in order to eat healthily during lockdown.
The exact content of each box depends on availability, but a typical box includes vegetables such as carrots, baking potatoes and mushrooms.
While fruits could include apples, bananas, grapes, satsumas, lemons and pineapple.

The fruit and veg included in the box would cost you £17.80 if bought separately at Morrisons, according to the supermarket.
Although then, you wouldn't get the items delivered to your home.

Shoppers who place their orders before 3pm will get the box delivered the next day.
The box is the latest addition to Morrisons' food box range, which also includes boxes with food and household essentials for £35.
Customers can also order 10kg farmers food boxes with rib-eye steaks and Cumberland sausages for £45, as well as a £55 meat box.
The supermarket has been followed by Aldi and M&S with food boxes for £24.99 and £35 respectively, although they haven't yet launched similar fruit and vegetable boxes.
Liz Taylor, Morrisons fruit & veg director said: "Our fruit and veg box contains a wide variety of affordable and good quality fruit and veg.
"A family can simply order one box - and get all of the vegetables they need for healthy meals for the week.
"They can be ordered alongside other food boxes such as our Meat Box and Fish Box - that we’ve recently launched to play our full part in feeding the nation."

In April, Morrisons increased the number of food boxes it delivered from 10,000 to 100,000 a week.
The supermarket has also expanded its same-day Amazon grocery delivery service.
Plus, it started a supermarket pump price war last week by slashing petrol prices to below £1 per litre for the first time since February 2016.
