Most supermarkets, including Asda, have changed their opening hours because of the coronavirus outbreak.

All 24-hour shops, for example, have reduced opening hours to allow staff extra time to clean shops.

There are also special timing slots for some groups including NHS staff.

This weekend Asda supermarkets are open but opening hours have changed slightly.

On Saturday and Sunday they will open as usual but for the bank holiday on Monday hours are slightly reduced.

This is the second bank holiday in May, following the early holiday for VE day on May 8.
