Pizza Express to reopen 13 branches today for delivery only – see the full list
PIZZA Express is reopening 13 restaurants in London today for home delivery as coronavirus lockdown measures are eased.
The pizza chain says it's trialling the move at the 13 London locations before reopening the remainder of its 400-plus stores.

The reopened stores will be open for home delivery-only, so you can't drop by to pick-up a takeaway or to dine-in - see the box below for the full list of restaurants that are opening their doors.
Contact-free deliveries will be made by and you'll have to place your order through the third party site.
Just bear in mind it charges a fee, which varies depending on how close you are to the restaurant.
There will also be a reduced menu on offer, although this will include a range of pizzas, sides, pastas, and desserts including the American Hot pizza, dough balls and vanilla cheesecake - see the box below for some examples and visit Deliveroo for the full list.

- Chiswick
- Croydon George Street
- Dulwich
- Ealing
- Fulham Road
- Greenwich
- Notting Hill Gate
- Shepherds Bush
- Wandsworth Trinity Road
Zoe Bowley, managing director of Pizza Express said: "We’re now delighted to confirm the start of a phased delivery only trial across selected London pizzerias from Thursday, May 28.
"Once this trial has been safely completed, we’ll consider our plans for further roll out, so do keep an eye on our website and social feeds for the latest news on this."
Pizza Express has been dishing out recipes for its most popular dishes, such as its Margherita pizza and dough balls during lockdown after it closed on March 20.

Restaurants have been allowed to continue trading for deliveries and takeaways throughout lockdown, but many of the biggest high street chains stopped taking orders while they worked out how to safely operate.
High street chains have been hard hit by the forced closures with speculation Pizza Express may keep some restaurants closed for good after lockdown - although it denies this is the case.

Some pubs are also offering takeaways, such as Greene King which has launched a new pub grub food delivery and click and collect trial.
The government has, however, already warned that pubs - along with hairdressers, cinemas and restaurants - won't be able to fully reopen until at least July 4.
