Primark doesn't have an online shop - which meant it lost on millions of pounds of sales during the Covid crisis.
Non-essential shops, including those that only sell clothes, homeware and toys, were told to keep their doors closed by the government during big chunks of 2021, and at the beginning of this year.
Although retailers still sold stock online, Primark didn't as it doesn't have a website.
It meant it built up £2billion-worth of unsold stock during the first lockdown, and sales plunged from £650million to zero when its shops closed to prevent the spread of the virus.
Stores have been fully open since April for shoppers to indulge in some retail therapy.
Here's everything you need to know about when branches open and close.
What time does Primark open and close?
Primark has 188 shops across the UK - it's biggest store worldwide is in Birmingham and its a whopping 160,000sq ft.
The retailer usually used to open its shops from 8am until 8pm - but after non-essential shops reopened in April this year after Covid rules relaxed, it extended shopping times by an extra two hours a day.
The Sun revealed that due to the soaring demand, Primark decided to keep these extended opening hours in place for "as long as they are wanted".
That means some stores - including its flagship Oxford Street store in London - now open for as long as 8am-10pm.
But this can vary from store to store, so to find out when your nearest branch opens its door, use the by typing in your postcode.
For example, some stores open until 9pm, like its big Birmingham store, while some, like its store in Inverness, close at 6pm.
Does Primark do sales?
Fashion fans may be disappointed to know Primark doesn't have the usual seasonal sales like other retailers do.
This is because prices are so cheap all year round.
But The Sun has found a way to spot "secret" sale items in stores.
These items can be reduced by half or more of their original price.
Every store will have a small number of reduced items and these are marked using red stickers.
The items are usually end of season items or stock that is being discontinued.
If shoppers want to find the hidden bargains then they should ask a member of Primark's customer service staff to point them out.
Some stores may even have a rail of sale items - but it does vary between stores.
But only a tiny proportion of stock is discounted.
We've also revealed the best times to shop at Primark throughout the year - and during the week - for discounted stock.
Ex-Primark workers have revealed that the best times to hunt for newly discounted clobber is early in the week.
