The reopening of more restaurants for dine-in comes just days after the Eat Out to Help Out scheme launched.

Pizza Express has already confirmed it's taking part in the money-saving initiative, which sees Brits get half-price food and non-alcoholic drinks every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until August 31.

If you're planning on dining in, Pizza Express has new social distancing measures in place.

This includes fewer tables, to allow for social distancing, and regular health checks for staff before they start their shifts.

An online payment system has also been introduced to minimise contact between customers and staff, where you can pay for your dinner by using your smartphone.

Eat-in diners can choose to pay cash still if they want, but Pizza Express isn't accepting cash for takeaway or home delivery orders.

The food chain also has a reduced menu in place, although this still contains favourites such as dough balls, margherita pizza and sloppy giuseppe pizza.

Pizza Express has 490 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.

As not all reopened Pizza Express' will offer dine-in, we recommend using the to get in contact with your nearest branch.

Zoe Bowley, managing director at Pizza Express said: "All of our open restaurants are happily supporting the Eat Out to Help Out scheme in August, and our customers are enjoying the outstanding value for money.

"We’re working hard to bring back our freshly handmade pizza to even more locations as soon as we can."

In not so good news for Pizza Express fans, the restaurant chain has warned it may permanently close around 67 restaurants putting up to 1,100 jobs at risk.
