The advert features an original track - the first time John Lewis has done this - written and performed by British soul singer Celeste.
John Lewis also said the ad nearly didn't get made this year.

John Lewis said it hopes the campaign, which will run under the strapline "Give a little love", will support families in need over Christmas.
