Sky to give customers free films, Premier League football and data this Christmas
SKY is giving customers free films, Premier League football and mobile data this Christmas.
Free worldwide calls for Sky Talk customers is another perk being offered by the telecoms company.
says it’s rolling out the freebies to say thanks to its customers.
One of the perks is a free download of The Santa Clause movie, starring Tim Allen, from now until December 31 for Sky TV subscribers.
The film usually costs £9.99 to download from Sky.
Other freebies include free Premier League games, including Leeds United versus Burnley and West Ham United versus Brighton.
In comparison, you pay £18 a month to upgrade your Sky TV package to get Sky Premier League and Sky Football channels - although you do get all the Premier League games available on Sky for this price.

The offers will depend on what sort of package you have with Sky.
For example, Sky is offering unlimited mobile data on December 25 and 26 but only for Sky Mobile customers.
The cheapest Sky Mobile contract prices start from £6-a-month for 2GB of data.
The telecoms company is also offering free landline calls to anywhere in the world on December 25 and 26 if you’re a Sky Talk subscriber.
The charge for non-inclusive calls to UK landlines is currently 16p per minute.
Sky said: “To say thank you to customers this Christmas and to offer some festive cheer at the end of 2020, Sky has some fantastic gifts including free movies, Premier League football, unlimited data on Sky Mobile, and free worldwide calls with Sky Talk.
“These gifts, available to existing Sky customers, will help bring everyone together this Christmas, whether that’s connecting with loved ones using free data on Sky Mobile or spending quality time together in front of a family movie with Sky Cinema.”
What Sky freebies can I claim?
Sky TV customers
- Download and keep festive favourite The Santa Clause film free of charge between now and 31 December. The movie is available on the Sky Store for all Sky TV customers.
- Football fans can watch Premier League action from Leeds United versus Burnley and West Ham United versus Brighton on 27 December. The matches are being made available on Sky One.
- Watch the Dolittle film, a new premiere from Sky Cinema for free on Sky One on December 26. It usually costs extra through a Sky Cinema subscription.
Sky Talk customers
- Sky Talk customers can make free calls from their Sky landline to anywhere in the world (landline or mobile) between 25 and 26 December. We've asked Sky if customers have to activate this deal, or if the freebie is automatic, and we'll update this article when we know more.
