PayPal is giving out £5 to 20,000 customers – how to claim
PAYMENTS provider PayPal is giving out £5 for free to 20,000 customers.
The sweet freebie is available until 11.59pm on March 31, or until 20,000 payouts have been claimed.
PayPal hasn't yet confirmed who's eligible for the cash, but told The Sun you need to have received an email encouraging you to claim to be able to get it.
So it's worth checking your inbox for any emails from the payments provider.
To get the £5 for free, simply click on the offer link in the email and log into your account.
The fiver will then be viewable in your PayPal account around 72 hours after you claimed it.
Once you've had the cash, you can withdraw it to your bank account if you wish, or you can leave it in your PayPal account to pay for future purchases.
Argos, Boots and Next are among the major retailers accepting PayPal payments.
Sadly, you can get only get the £5 for free once.
You must also be a UK resident and at least 18 years old to be able to get it.
The Sun has asked PayPal how many customers have claimed the reward so far, and we'll update this article once we hear back.
PayPal has previously offered a free £5 voucher to spend at thousands of online shops.
