Poundland launches UK home delivery service – full list of postcodes revealed
MORE shoppers can finally order online from Poundland as the store has expanded its home delivery trial to more than 1.9million Brits.
Poundland first trialled the home deliveries to its 18,000 staff and a select number of invited customers, before branching out to most of the Midlands.
Then you can use the postcode checker and if your postcode is a match you'll be automatically passed through to the shop without any need to register.
Once you've done that, you can shop like you would normally do online, and place an order to be delivered to your home when you get to the checkout.
Your order will arrive via Hermes courier service as Poundland has teamed up with the delivery giant to provide logistics services as the pilot is extended.
It comes as the retailer recently opened a new style of store based on the corner shop format where you can pop in for milk and other essentials.
The shops are named Poundland Locals, and two have opened in Yorkshire as the retailer trials a smaller convenience store format closer to people's homes.
It’s also planning to expand the number of usual Poundland shops found across Britain’s high streets too.
The bargain retailer will be opening 30 new stores by September, creating an extra 250 jobs.
