Burger King has launched its halloumi fries side option for the first time in the UK - and it's available in restaurants or for delivery now.

You have the option of either a six-piece for £3.69 or a nine-piece for £4.69.

The cheesy fries will be served with a dip of your choice, including sweet chilli, smokey BBQ and spicy mayo.

If you just can't get enough cheese, you can also get your hands on a Halloumi King burger, which is £7.49 for a regular meal with chips and a drink or £5.49 on its own.

You'll have to move fast to sample the halloumi specials, as they're a limited time offer and will only be available in the summer months.

Burger King hasn't confirmed exactly when they'll be taken off the menu but we will update this article with more details when it does.

The frozen Fanta strawberry slushie has been rolled out across all Burger King stores with frozen drinks machines.

It costs £2.29 for a regular-size slushie or £2.49 for a large - and is a permanent addition to the menu.

The Cheesy Bacon Double is another brand-new addition to the UK menu that is available for you to try right now.

The double-stack special comes with two beef burger patties, topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce, cheese sauce and two slices of American cheese.

It will cost you £6.89 for the burger on its own or £8.89 as a meal with chips and a regular drink.

"With the warm weather hopefully here to stay, we know guests are going to love our summery Halloumi Fries on the side too! The new products are the perfect treat after a long, long winter.”

Burger fans got another treat this week when McDonald's announced its new BBQ bacon stack burger - and the return of mozzarella dippers.
