Money blogger explains how shopping at Primark, Greggs and Boots can lower your mobile phone bill

A MONEY blogger has explained how shopping at Greggs, Boots and Primark can help knock money off your phone bill.

The savvy saver, who runs the money saving blog Pennies To Pounds, took to Instagram to explain three ways to save on your bill.

She said using cashback websites, comparison websites and special apps will help you save on your bill.

Firstly, she recommended using the app Airtime Rewards to get money off your phone bill every time you shop at certain high street stores and chains.

It is an app that monitors your spending and allows you to redeem the rewards as money off your phone bill.

It is free to download but you'll need link up the Visa or Mastercard bank card that you use for most of your spending.

The app has joined up with 80 retailers including Primark, Greggs, Boots and Wilko, and will reward every purchase you make by taking money off your phone bill.

Only mobile users who are with Three, Vodafone, O2, EE or giffgaff are eligable for the rewards.

Secondly, she recommended using cashback websites including Quidco or TopCashback when taking out a new phone contract.

Cashback websites like TopCashback promise to earn you money on your shopping by agreeing offers with retailers which they pass onto customers.

was offering up to £30 cashback if you took out a contract with giffgaff, or £60 if you took one out with BT.

While was offering up to £210 cashback if you order a phone through Tesco Mobile.

All you need to do is set up an account online at these sites, click on the deals and then set up your contract.

The blogger said she got £80 back in free cash just by using Quidco for her contract.
