Room goes on the market for £700 a month – but tenant has to live with 20 others and three cats in warehouse
A DOUBLE room in a trendy London postcode has gone on the market for £700 a month - but there's a big catch.
At first glance, , in the capital's north, looks like a steal.
The room offers a mattress beneath its eaves, with a hammock slung nearby and a desk close to the door.
There's also a big garden and even a movie room set up with a projector.
But those who prefer their own space may want to skip a viewing.
That's because the new resident will be sharing with more than 20 other people - as well as three cats.
The room is in a huge warehouse transformed into living accommodation for likeminded tenants who don't mind the occasional wait for the bathroom.
And occupants will only be welcome if they're social - with the current residents warning: "It's important that you come with the right energy."

An ad posted on Gumtree says: "Our warehouse is within a gated complex among many other lovely warehouse communities.
"You will be sharing with around 20 other people and three lovely cats.
"The house can be very quiet and chilled out, much more so than you would ever expect for a house comprising of 20-plus people."
Housemates have installed a number of fridges, while there are three showers available.
The rent includes all bills - as well as toilet paper.
And couples are welcome, although they must pay another £150 a month.
"The ideal candidate would be someone who could fit in well - an open-minded and laid-back person who likes to socialise and engage with a small community but does not depend upon it," the ad says.
'IT'S CHILLED OUT'
"We want someone who will really get involved with the community here and not treat the space like a hostel or keep themselves to themselves.
"This space is our home.
"Many of us have lived here for a long time so it's important that the new housemate comes with the right energy."
The capital is well-known for its weird and wonderful housing options.
And while the situation is much worse for those on a budget, even those with more cash can face some bizarre choices.
One tiny studio on the market in swanky Bayswater is on the market for £250,000 - with no bed.
Instead, the property features a very slim sofa barely big enough to allow a resident to put their feet up comfortably.
WEIRD AND WONDERFUL
A spacious apartment in swanky Chelsea available for £2,383 a month comes with a secret twist.
The home comes fully-furnished with a sofa, bed and what appears to be a grand library.
But avid readers who reach for one of the leather-bound books will have a shock.
The bookcase is just a decoy - and it slides apart to reveal a kitchen behind it.
Another little flat in posh Kensington is on the market for a bargain £480 a month - but it doesn't have a toilet.

While the space offers a shower - bizarrely wedged between the fridge and a chest of drawers - there's no loo in sight.
Even more strangely, the property in North End Crescent is marketed as a home for two, meaning only the very closest of couples should apply.
