Wetherspoons to cut prices next month with beers starting from 99p
WETHERSPOONS has announced it will be slashing drink prices next month - and you can get some beers for just 99p.
The chain will lower prices over the whole of November on a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
All pubs will be lowering prices, but the discounts you can get vary from branch to branch.
However, the majority will be selling three main drinks for 99p which are: pale ale, Beck's bottles and whiskey measures.
In 671 pubs pints of Ruddles Best (or Greene King IPA in some pubs), bottles of Beck's, and a 25ml measures of Bell's whiskey including a mixer will all be 99p.
Thirsty punters will be able to grab a pint of real ale at 99 other pubs for £1.10.
While at 770 pubs, a Gordon's 25ml gin measure will set you back £1.99, which includes a mixer, and a glass of Coldwater Creek wine will cost £1.69 for a 175ml glass.
Plus, a bottle of Hardys - either Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Shiraz, Rose - can be bagged for £6.99.
A spokesperson for the chain added that prices at all other Wetherspoons pubs will be reduced - but the discounts you can get will be varied in price.
Pints of real ale will set you back £1.49 to £1.99, a glass of wine will cost £1.99 to £2.79, and a Gordon's gin with mixer will be £1.99 to £2.99.
You'll be able to get money off your drinks from Monday, November 1 to Tuesday, November 30.
However, the chain has also been known to raise prices too.
'Spoons bosses announced in July that punters' bills will go up by an average of 40p per meal when VAT rate cuts were earmarked to end.
The lowered rate ended on September 30.
Plus, boozers have warned punters that the price of beer could go up this year by 30p.
