McDonald’s brings back popular menu item just in time for Easter – but it won’t be around for long

MCDONALD'S has brought back one of its most popular menu items for this time of year.

Fans are now able to get their hands on the Creme Egg McFlurry - but because it's hatched on the menu just in time for Easter, it won’t be sticking around for long.

McDonald's only just got rid of the popular Chicken Big Mac, which upset plenty of fans, devastated at its quick departure from the menu.

But they don't have to stay sad for long, as a host of new menu items are arriving this spring.

The Creme Egg McFlurry joined the McDonald's line-up yesterday, but it's only staying on the menu until April 26.

The fast-food chain regularly switches up its McFlurry flavours - at Christmas it had a Celebrations version, and it's had Rolo, Crunchie and more all in the past.

In this seasonal rendition of the Maccies classic though, the soft dairy ice cream is swirled with Cadbury milk chocolate pieces and a Cadbury Creme Egg fondant sauce.

It's available both as a regular or mini size.

The regular will cost fans £1.39 or they can pay just 99p for a mini.

The ice creams will be available at all McDonald's restaurants after 11am everyday - find your closest with the .

But keep in mind they'll be subject to availability so you may want to check ahead on the app or by calling so you don't face any disappointment.

It's not the only thing worth heading to Maccies for though - the chain also brought back its popular Big Tasty burger yesterday.

It's made a return with a twist though, as it now comes in a BBQ flavour too.

You can order the burger and the McFlurry for something sweet after at any McDonald's counter, or at the Drive-thru, via the collection service or even partners like Uber Eats - with delivery charges applied.
