Six top deals to save on holiday essentials from sun cream to suitcases
ARE you heading abroad for a well-earned break? Maybe even joining us on one of our super Sun Hols From £9.50?
Then here’s how to save even more loot when gearing up for a getaway . . .
EXCESS BAGGAGE: Luggage can be pricey but there are some budget-friendly options under £50 that look stylish and do the job.
Argos sells the Go Explore two-piece soft two-wheeled luggage set for £45, meaning that if jetting off on your getaway, you can pack one to be stowed away and one to take on board with you.
Primark also has a range of hard-shelled suitcases in various sizes and colours, ranging from £25 for a small one to £42 for an extra large case.
DON’T BURN CASH: There’s no need to splurge on expensive sunscreen when cheaper brands offer the same protection.

The NHS advises you to look for a UVA star rating of at least four and an SPF of 30 or more.
Both Nivea and Superdrug’s own-brand Solait SPF50 sun cream spray are five-star rated.
But at £5.99 and £3.99 respectively, Solait comes in cheaper.
BOTTLE IT UP: That last-minute dash to the chemist to stock up on mini toiletries can cost you dear.
A 50ml travel-size bottle of Nivea soft shower cream costs £1.50 at Boots, or £1 if you buy two other mini toiletries at the same price as part of its three-for-two deal.
But a 250ml bottle is £1, which means 50ml works out at just 20p — a fifth of the price of the travel size.
So get the larger bottle and decant some into a travel bottle. A set of empty travel bottles is £1 at Poundland.
PULL THE PLUG: Instead of buying travel adapters for different countries, grab a universal one.
You can enter eight times by each route.
