The pair only recently returned from three weeks in Mexico, having already visited Zanzibar, Morocco and Senegal this year.

The duo claimed they have nearly racked up almost a million air miles and have no plans on stopping anytime soon.

Ian told : “I love to travel to the Far East but Lyn likes the Caribbean so we take it in turns.

“We have been very lucky, winning the lottery opened up the world to us.”

The pair won the lifechanging £1 million sum in 2013 when the couple would regularly escape to their caravan on the West Wales coast.

At the time they told lottery officials that “money would not change us” after implying that they were content with their lives in the small town of Merthyr Tydfil.

But their quest for a better life soon got the better of them after they purchased a £600,000 property in New Quay, Cardiganshire where they live in between their lavish trips.

Now the couple say they have fulfilled their dreams after travelling cross continent – including dream destinations such as Australia, Brazil, India and The Maldives.

Ian said: “I’ve done my bucket list and for me the highlight was the Taj Mahal in India.

“We’ve taken family and friends with us - we have lots of great memories to look back on.”

However, despite their worldwide travels, the couple still conclude that “nothing beats Wales.

Lyn, who used to work as a physiotherapy technician, said: “We go to places that have great beaches, or mountain ranges, or amazing scenery but Wales has got the lot.”

A Camelot spokeswoman added: “Ian and Lyn are a great couple who know how to enjoy themselves. Their win has taken them to places they could only have dreamed about before.”
