REST IS HISTORY

Studio flat in London goes on the market for just £110,000 – but there’s a big catch when it comes to bedtime

A STUDIO flat has gone on the market for just £110,000 - but it comes with a bedtime surprise.

The bargain property in Barking Road, London, was put on the market last week.

the flat is described as "rarely available" and in "excellent condition".

And sceptical buyers who think that the East London abode is too good to be true for the price might actually be right.

So what's the big catch?

You may not believe it, but the well-priced flat doesn't actually have space for a bed.

The tiny property only measures 4.57m by 3.05m - and photos from the ad show it's currently fitted with just a sofa.

There is no bed in the living space as it currently stands.

However, with things already as cramped as they are, most potential owners would likely choose to sacrifice the sofa for a bed if needed.

You would still be able to retain the space to walk in from the hallway and access the washing machine, fridge, sink and other amenities.

And although there is a lack of room inside, the property has a nice outside area for prospective buyers to enjoy a drink on a warm summer evening.

The Rightmove listing goes on to state that the flat is double glazed. Agents say it'll be a "great investment".

The property also boasts excellent transport links, and is just five minutes from Canning Town and Plaistow stations.

City Airport and the Excel Centre with its bars and restaurants are also relatively close by.

It's in Zone 2, meaning getting to Canary Wharf and the city is quick and easy.

In more good news for commuters, the Emirates cable car is nearby, providing easy access to the O2 Arena and direct access to the A406.

And another home which recently became available for £450 a month also had a surprising catch awaiting renters.
