A FAMILY home has gone on the market for less than £400,000 - and there's a grim explanation for it.
The three-bedroom property in Kingsbury, London, was made available last week for just £395,000.
Listed on property site the semi-detached house might seem like a steal for the price.
However, prospective buyers will be in for a shock when they peer into the inside of the house.
The well-priced property is in dire condition and in serious need of total revamp.
Despite boasting large indoor space, any potential owners will have to fork out time and money on renovating the interior.

Stained walls, broken floors and mouldy rooms are just some of the obstacles facing any buyers trying to turn this house into a home.
Photos online show nearly every surface in the home seems to be dirty - with the bathroom featuring peeling paint and broken tiles.
And the kitchen is in no better shape with the remaining appliances covered in dust, grime and mould.
Dirt and damp patches cover the walls of the Kingsbury home - and there is debris strewn across the floor of the living room.

One bedroom has ripped curtains and yellowing wallpaper while another fares no better with a fireplace that is well in need of maintenance.
Estate agents Auction House London state in the listing that the house "requires refurbishment throughout" which is a serious understatement.
The home boasts both front and rear gardens but this will also require some work if any buyers wish to use it.
Unfortunately it is in a similar state to the rest of the property - with overgrown ivy and weeds nearly completely blocking out the view from the rear house windows.
However, listing states that the semi-detached house has "potential for a side, rear and loft extension" subject to obtaining relevant consents.
With a lot of elbow grease, a decent interior designer and a building crew, the abode has the potential to be considered a valuable long-term investment.
The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac close to local shops and amenities.
And the property has excellent transport links, in close proximity to both Colindale and Kingsbury station.
