As well as the house itself, the lucky new owner will also be purchasing a separate two-bed annexe for visitors or Airbnb bookings.

Both properties are set in 1.3 acres of landscaped grounds, which boast lawns, a summerhouse and a vegetable garden.

But there are also two completely unexpected surprises to be found on the estate.

The home features its own little lake - as well as a private mini-golf course.

Agents Lillicrap Chilcott say the sale of the property is a "golden opportunity" for an ambitious buyer longing to live in a West Country beauty spot.

The home is "just inland from the popular coastal resort of Marazion", and commands "wonderful views over the surrounding fields and countryside", they said.

It's built across four floors, with two double bedrooms on the first and a bathroom and dining room on the second.

Before its transformation into living quarters, it served as a tin and copper mine from 1883 to 1902.

After the plant was shut, it was abandoned for 80 years - before two pilots set about refurbishing it in 1989.

The walls are made of granite a metre-and-a-half thick, and by law, no one can obstruct the surrounding views.

Its annexe is currently let out to holidaymakers who pay £536 for a two-night stay - and a whopping £1,257 to visit for nine days.

It's not the only home on the market with an astonishing surprise in store.

A charming three-bed cottage available for almost £600,000 comes complete with its own cat.

The moggy apparently has no desire to leave the Victorian Gothic-style house, and will be staying put.

And an ordinary two-bed terraced home has been transformed into a Harry Potter wonderland.
