Asda Christmas bank holiday opening times: What time are stores open?

The mega-chain will be operating under reduced hours over Christmas, as the chain gives its hard-working staff some time off. Here's everything you need to know.

Asda during Christmas

ASDA will only be closing its doors for one day over Christmas.

The store will close at 7pm on Christmas Eve before closing entirely for Christmas Day.

The shop will then reopen for Boxing Day, though it will close at 6pm.

Asda will also operate under reduced hours on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Check with your local store ahead of the holiday to be absolutely certain of Asda's closing time and to check if a local 24-hour shop will stay open.

Alternatively, you can check the Asda app for the opening times of any shop.

The supermarket chain is offering a unique range of items perfect for Christmas dinner and have even included Christmas recipes on their website.

The chain will be joined by Sainsbury's, Tesco, Aldi, M&S and Waitrose in putting its shutters down on December 25.

Some high street shops, including B&Q, will also limit their hours over Christmas.
