Shoppers reveal their top six things to buy at Aldi – but can you get them cheaper elsewhere?

SHOPPERS have revealed their favourite items to buy from Aldi - but you might find them cheaper elsewhere.

With BBQ season on the rise, you might want to find some tasty snacks for the sizzler.

In fact, Sunday's temperatures could hit 43C, so a garden party might not be too shabby.

Aldi fans have listed their favourite food products to buy in a new survey, naming all sorts of tasty dinner food and fizzy pops.

As always though, we'd recommend you shop around in case they're sold elsewhere at a cheaper price.

Customers are raving about these classic deli pizzas.

They come in the following sizes with these toppings:

It depends which flavour you go for with this pick, but you can buy packs of 250g from Aldi for £2.15.

A popular flavour is ricotta and spinach, but there are often other cheese flavours as well as meat fillings.

However, you can buy 300g of spinach and ricotta ravioli from Tesco for just £1.60 - and that's without Clubcard price.

Specially Selected Greek yoghurt

If you're on the go in the morning or need a quick, nutritious snack, yoghurt is often a great choice.

Fans of Aldi certainly think so too, because they've picked the Specially Selected Greek yoghurt as a top favourite.

You can get from Aldi for as little as 45p, but it'll cost more from the Specially Selected range.

Again, you'll need to check with your local store because prices may differ.

It's 99p for a 500g pot of Greek Style yoghurt at Morrisons and £1 at Sainsbury's.

Atlantic salmon

The survey claims Aldi's Atlantic salmon was fans' top seafood pick.

It comes in fresh and is Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified for sustainability.

It depends which cut you get, but you can buy 200g of smoked salmon slices for £4.29.

At Tesco, it's £3.75 for 120g and £3.60 for the same pack size at Asda.

Giambellino's peach Bellini

For those sunny days in the garden where you're in the mood for a cheeky glass of fizz, this might do the trick.

Aldi shoppers love their affordable alcoholic beverages - but again you'll need to head in store to check prices.

Meanwhile, you can get a in Tesco for £3 per 75cl and Morrisons sells the same for £4.

Flavoured sparkling water

Another one to cool you down in the sweltering heat - Aldi fans love its range of sparkling water.

Flavours you can get include:

  • key lime

If you prefer to keep it plain though, you can buy of sparkling water in Aldi for 45p.

Asda does 1 litre bottles of flavoured water for 48p, while it's 60p at Morrisons.
