Full list of benefits paid early and hitting bank accounts TODAY including Universal Credit
PEOPLE expecting benefits next week will see their payments made early due to the Queen's funeral bank holiday on Monday.
Those receiving Universal Credit, pension credit and more will receive their payment TODAY, September 16, instead of September 19.
The government announced the change on Tuesday, September 13.
The reason payments are landing in accounts today is because it's the last working day before the bank holiday.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) says it has put arrangements in place to make sure all benefits and credits due are paid from now.
When will I get my payment?
If your benefit is due to be paid on the day of the state funeral (Monday, September 19), you'll be paid today - September 16.
