CO-OP is a high street favourite for last-minute purchases, thanks to its wide range of goods and low prices.
However, the chain will be operating reduced hours over the festive period which means you'll have to act fast to purchase any Christmas Day items.
Co-op's christmas hours
Most of Co-op's shops will open as normal on Christmas Eve before closing up shop on Christmas Day.
They will re-open on Boxing Day (albeit with reduced hours) and will remain open into the New Year.
The chain of supermarkets normally remains open for bank holidays, but makes an exception for Christmas Day.
Co-op's bank and funeral home
The Co-op also operates several other services including a bank and a funeral service.

The bank will close on the bank holiday dates of December 25 and 26.
Co-op Funeralcare homes will close, but they have a 24 hour central care team that can be contacted by phone or via the website.
In 2022, the brand sold their lucrative chain of petrol stations to Asda for an eye-watering £600 million.
Asda has confirmed that most of these stations will be closed on Christmas Day, but noted that filling stations with a pay-at-the-pump service will remain operational.

Co-op's incredible journey
Co-op's roots can be traced all the way back to 1844 with the Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers.
Throughout the years, they have grown to become one of the UK's leading consumer co-operatives.
A consumer co-operative is an enterprise fully owned by its members, unlike a traditional business.
As of December 2024, the brand has its headquarters in One Angel Square in Manchester.
The building is one of the most sustainable large buildings in Europe, thanks to its bio-diesel cogeneration plant which uses rapeseed oil to provide heat and electricity.
