Shoppers at B&M keep getting electric shocks from their trolleys

SHAKEN shoppers keep getting shocks from trolleys at B&M stores.

The zaps are caused by static electricity building up in the metal trolley, with some speculating it is made worse by the type of flooring.

Shoppers at several B&M stores keep being shocked by their metal trolleys

Judy Hanson, 64, got a “belter” of a jolt in Driffield, East Yorks.

She said: “I mentioned it at the checkout and the assistant said it happens loads of times.

“I’m going to use a basket from now on.”

Gina Weaver, 25, added: “I refuse to let my two children get in a trolley as they were getting shocked.”

Chef Carol Allison, 62, got zapped in Sheffield and said: “It’s not a pleasant shopping experience.”

Others posted on Facebook about their shocking experience at the shop.

Alisha May Tullock said: “This happens to me ever since they opened.”

And Kim Bettis added: “I was there yesterday and it was happening all round the store.”
