When replacing worn-out homeware, finding items that are kind to the environment is key.
Here are some great eco-friendly high-street options to help you keep it green.
WARM TO IT: Snuggle under an Emma Barclay recycled cotton herringbone throw from Robert Dyas, down from £19.99 to £14.99.
And check out the store’s online Eco Shop for plenty more products, as well as recycling services for items such as used water-filter cartridges, lightbulbs, batteries and printer cartridges.
GET THE SET: Overhaul your pan cupboard this autumn with the Prestige Eco range from Prestige.co.uk. For the ultimate kit, you can get a five-pan set down from £166 to £105.99. The pans are made from recycled aluminium and are recyclable. A tree is planted for every pan sold.

CRAFTY MOVES: Hobbycraft has craft projects available free on its Ideas Hub, with suggestions for recycling and upcycling items around the home to make new ones. Learn how to make recycled jewellery or a homemade bird feeder.
POT LUCK: Tesco has a range of 80-per- cent recycled pots and pans in its Go Cook range, with discounts to be had for Clubcard holders, including an 18cm saucepan, down from £23 to £17.
GLASS HALF FULL: Dunelm’s Conscious Choice collection is a range of 800 products made from sustainable materials, including a recycled pink glass vase for £10.
WASH HOW YOU GO: Making your everyday essentials more eco-friendly is part of saving the climate. Head to John Lewis for 100-per-cent recycled plastic washing-up bowl, £4, or laundry basket, £8.
CLEAR SENSE: Sainsbury’s recycled glass collection has some great bargains, including four tumblers for £13 and a recycled glass jug, which will look great on any table, for £12.
