Cheap deals to enjoy tasty grub at fireworks this bonfire night

GET more bangers for your buck this bonfire night with tasty deals on winter warmers and sweet treats.

I’ve found some great savings on food that’s quick to prep, wherever you’re planning to watch the fireworks.

MEAT FEAST: Sizzling sausages are perfect in hot dog rolls with ketchup, mustard and fried onions.

Morrisons has a great deal on Big Banger foot-long sausages, which are £1 each or four for £3.

Its Best Gourmet Collection smoked pork hotdog and currywurst sausages are now £3 each, down from £3.50.

Alternatively the supermarket has a third off British beef brisket, now £6 per kilo reduced from £9, while British pork shoulder is £3.50 per kilo. The deals run until Sunday.

Aldi has slow-cooked barbecue pulled pork for £2.79 (400g). Or you can try its Specially Selected wood-fired hog roast pizza for £3.79.

At M&S, there’s a three-for-£12 deal on meats to grill including a two-pack of Wagyu beef burgers, chicken Yakitori skewers, posh dogs, lamb shish kebabs and more.

SIDE SHOW: Pop to Iceland and you can get six TGI Fridays corn dogs with ketchup and honey mustard sauce for £4 or eight bite-sized Aberdeen Angus beef sliders with brioche buns for £5.

It also has 200 products to choose from in a three-for-£10 offer. Among the many options, from Chiquito it has spicy chicken enchiladas usually £4 and habanero chicken wings normally £3.50.

From YO!, you can get Korean-style fried chicken, normally £4 and YO! BBQ chicken bao buns normally £3.50.

SWEET TREATS: At Co-op, pick up a giant S’mores Chocolate Brownie, which serves six, for £3 or try the S’mores stonebaked pizza from M&S, which is topped with chocolate sauce, biscuit balls and marshmallows for £4.

At Morrisons, get two toffee and chocolate apples for £1 or Aldi has a Specially Selected salted caramel and toffee apple sponge pudding for £2.75.
