M&S shoppers are rushing to buy ‘divine’ doughnuts which have a Christmas twist
SHOPPERS are rushing to Marks and Spencer to get their hands on an unusual new Christmas treat.
M&S fans have called it “divine” and a “festive essential”.
Dubbed a “panettonut”, it is a fusion of panettone with a doughnut, and filled with a rich vanilla custard and rolled in sugar.
The festive treat costs £1.50 and is available from M&S food halls now.
You can find your nearest branch by using the locator tool on the retailer’s website.
M&S fans are loving it after the supermarket shared a picture of the panettonuts on Instagram.

In a caption alongside the image, M&S wrote: “Calling all festive foodies… check out the latest in our famous hybrid bakery treats.
“The ultimate fusion you didn’t know you needed…our epic new Panettonut combines panettone with a doughnut.”
Shoppers were quick to respond, with many keen to try the new treat.
One shopper said: “Oh my goodness, this sounds divine.”
While another added: “This is what I need.”
And a third wrote: “This is so festive and looks amazing.”
The Sun couldn’t find panettonut on sale at any other supermarket.
Marks and Spencer has really been getting into the festive spirit, with a whole range of Christmas treats popping up in stores.
Last month, the supermarket brought back its seasonal snow globe gins.
There are two flavours this year – clementine and spiced sugar plum.
Customers can pick up the tipple for just £16 – that’s £4 less than last Christmas when it would have set you back £20.
M&S has also come out with a chocolate mini whips advent calendar – the perfect way to countdown to Christmas.
But some other retailers have also been getting on the festive fun.
Shoppers have been going wild for a giant Asda mince pie.
