If you happen to be handed one of these £2 coins in your supermarket change, you might not have had great expectations.

But in a twist in the tale of this coin, it could now fetch you in the region of £8, according to collecting website HobbyLark.
That is quadruple its original value – not bad if you feel like you have fallen on hard times before your next pay check.
