SHOPPERS are rushing to buy another bargain air fryer while the Aldi favourite version is sold out.

Customers actually crashed the Aldi website trying to purchase its £89.99 air fryer at the start of the month.

Aldi's Ambiano Dual Basket Air Fryer was trending on Twitter early in November, with many calling it a must-have.

It costs just under £90 - which is £110 cheaper than the popular Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.

Although it's sold out online, shoppers can now grab their own version in stores only - just search the Aldi store locator if you're not sure where your nearest branch is.

But waiting in a queue could be tedious - and some eager buyers have stumbled across a £65 digital air fryer from Dunelm that might save many the hassle.

One fan shared the finding to social media, writing: "For anyone looking for air fryers, Dunelm had a big delivery of them yesterday, worth checking there if you have one near you."

Plenty of others shared their thoughts on the website, with one saying: "Wish I had bought one sooner, really easy to use and have recommended to friends who have bought and also love it!";

Another was impressed: "Excellent air fryer - big enough for a family of 4 with a very good price for the big fryer.

"Cooks quick and it has a timer, so you can do other things without being worried about it - highly recommend it."

It costs £25 less than Aldi's bargain, which equals to a whopping £165 less than the Ninja model.

Dunelm's version is 6L with eight possible cooking settings.

It features one frying basket with 360° circular hot wind to ensure a light and efficient cooking process.

But the website doesn't note which temperature it reaches, so you might need to call up and ask the store before buying.

For reference, the Aldi version reaches 200C.

The only catch is that it's sold out online, so if you want to grab the bargain, you'll have to hurry to your nearest branch.

You also might want to call ahead to your local store to check if it has the fryer in stock, to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest Dunelm by using the store locator tool on its website.

As always before you commit to a purchase, you should have a shop around to make sure you're getting the best deal.

For example, Argos is selling the Tower T17079 3L Air Fryer for £30 - we couldn't find the same model as Dunelm's, but it's still a bargain price.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

But if you're ordering online be sure to factor in delivery costs.

We also found the Tower Vortx Dual Basket Air Fryer 7.6L being sold at B&M for £99 - it's out of stock online but you can check your closest store for availability.

Alternatively, if you were looking for a smaller option with one basket the Otek 4.5L air fryer is priced at £59.99 on Amazon.

Air fryers have gained popularity over the last few months as under the price cap, using one for 15 minutes costs just 13p.

It comes as energy bills are still heavily on everyone’s minds, and people have turned to plug in devices to save their coins.
