I’m a mum – I couldn’t believe my luck when I won lottery jackpot but then my day got even BETTER

A MUM-OF-FOUR scooped a jackpot lottery prize after tripling her winnings in a special prize drop.

Rajeeva Tharmalingam, 37, from Ontario was playing Plinko Lottery when she suddenly discovered she had won £82,500, but her winnings just kept on coming.

The lucky win meant that Rajeeva could then enter the gigantic Plinko board at the prize centre in Toronto in a bid to increase her winnings.

“I didn’t expect the board to be so big,” she said. “When I climbed to the top of the board, I felt like my heart was going to stop. I couldn’t wait to see how much I was going to win.”

After anxiously dropping the Plinko chip, she waited to find out that her total prize had tripled to a whopping £247,620.

“I was so happy – jumping up and down in happiness,” Rajeeva said.

Her plans for her mega win include paying off her mortgage and investing in her children's futures.

The mum-of-four also hopes to get some travelling in and take her husband and kids to Europe.

Meanwhile, a very lucky man in Australia managed to win two lottery jackpots in the same day totalling £1.1million.

After being told off by his wife for forgetting to buy entries for the previous game, the man picked up two identical tickets for the same draw and reaped the rewards.

Elsewhere, three Welsh pals managed to win £1million after starting a lottery syndicate during their apprenticeships.

The young trio, whose syndicate is called The Apprentices, each picked up a third of a million with a lucky dip on a Euromillions draw.
