Job where you can earn £90k and DON’T need any qualifications… but there’s a catch
HEADHUNTERS have revealed a job where you can earn £90,000 but don't need any qualifications - but there's a catch.
The job comes with a bigger salary than any other role which doesn't require a university education, according to job site Adzuna.
A casino gaming manager can earn a whopping £90,000 a year, far more than a commercial pilot, army officer or software developer.
The Little Vegas casinos in Croydon, London and Maidstone, Kent are currently advertising on Indeed for assistant managers paid £28,000, as are Flutter Entertainment in Leeds and Mecca Bingo in Sheffield (salaries not disclosed).
A gaming manager at a casino monitors the allocation of chips and winnings to punters, settles arguments at gaming tables and makes sure that roulette wheels, blackjack tables and other equipment are in good condition.
They also supervise croupiers, the skilled dealers who run games in the casino.

But the high-earning job comes with a catch which puts off many potential applicants.
Gaming managers are salaried employees of casinos, which are usually open 24/7 all year round.

That means they will often have to work nights, weekends and even public holidays like Christmas.
There are several other jobs which offer high salaries without requiring formal qualifications.
Adzuna's Andrew Hunter said: ""A university degree is no longer the only ticket to a high paying career, as more industries look to expand their talent pools to a more diverse range of applicants and offer on the job training.
"The IT sector is a good example of this, boasting many high paying roles like scrum master, ethical hacker, and software developer open to jobseekers without a computer science qualification."
While a degree isn't needed for most of these jobs, there may be other requirements.
For example, you don't need to study at university to become a commercial pilot, but you'll usually need five GCSEs including English, Science, and Maths.
With the cost of a university education adding up to £57,000 on average, it could pay to pursue one of the high-paying careers that avoid taking on student loan debts and studying costs.
Scrum masters, who manage IT and tech projects, are earning upwards of £62,000 a year.
There are courses you can take to train as a scrum master, but there's no strict path into the job.
Those in the following roles can also expect to earn salaries between £50,000 and £60,000 a year:
- Software developer
- Train driver
- Construction manager
- Oil Rig operative
- Security manager
- Games developer
- Project manager
