When is Sainsbury’s open in the Christmas holidays?
Sainsbury’s stores were open on Christmas Eve with the exception of eight convenience stores in Central London.
As Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday, the supermarkets and larger convenience stores traded under their usual Sunday hours – the same will be the case on New Year’s Eve.
While the majority of stores will be open as normal across the UK on New Year’s Day, shoppers are advised to check .
On Christmas Day all Sainsbury’s stores were closed with the exception of one petrol station in South East London, Charlton Riverside.
On Boxing Day the majority of stores were open, but it’s best to check the for each shop’s individual opening and closing time.
