A MAJOR health and beauty chain is set to open 25 new stores as part of a huge expansion plan.
Superdrug has announced plans to open dozens of new stores across the UK in a move which will create 570 jobs.
The brand has already opened three new stores in England and Wales during the first three months of the year.
New shops opened in Washington Gallery and Falkirk Retail Parks in February and in Braehead, Scotland, in March.
Three further stores will soon open in Dublin, Manchester Trafford Centre and London Brent Cross, with more stores in the pipeline for later this year.
But a further 25 stores are also planned to open by the end of 2023.

Superdrug told The Sun that it will confirm the locations of the 25 new stores at a later date.
The health and beauty retailer will also renovate 70 of its current stores in 2023.
The store refits will see stores modernised through a series of updates that include new shop fronts, improved flooring and energy-efficient LED lighting.
Superdrug is the UK's second-largest health and beauty retailer after Boots with 790 stores across the UK and Ireland.

The retailer was purchased by A.S. Watson Group, the world's largest international health and beauty retailer, in 2002.
Established in 1841, A.S. Watson Group owns over 16,100 stores under 12 retail brands in 28 markets, with about 130,000 employees worldwide.
Other UK brands owned by A.S. Watson Group include Savers and The Perfume Shop.
Peter Macnab, chief executive at Superdrug said: "Recent years have seen seismic changes in our sector, and constantly evolving customer expectations.

Superdrug launched a brand new own-brand makeup range dubbed Studio London back in November 2022.
The 137-piece collection offers everything under £9 and has twice sold out its best-selling product, U Matte-R Setting Mist Matte.
The launch came a year after the health and beauty brand relaunched its Own Brand skincare range B. Skin.
Superdrug shoppers can save a fortune with the brand's Health and Beasuty Card.
Customers recieve one point per £1 spent and each point is worth 1p.

For example, an Oral-B Pro 3 3500 pink electric toothbrush with travel case is £39.99 down from £90 for members.
A number of other retailers are set to open stores in the coming weeks.
WH Smith is launching new high-end stationery and souvenir shops, while Aldi has revealed 30 locations where it wants to open branches this year.
