Three items to always buy at Homebase – and two to avoid
HOMEBASE is known as a one-stop shop for all things DIY and gardenware.
You can pick up everything from tools and furniture, to paint and storage at the retailer.
But you'll want to keep an eye out for certain products over others if you want to get the most bang for your buck.
You can find your nearest Homebase branch by using the store locator on its website.
You just have to type in your postcode or town where you live and it will bring up your closest store and its opening hours.

Anything over £100
If you've got the time and energy you can of course head to your nearest Homebase branch to pick something up.
But if you'd rather order from the comfort of your sofa, you can always order online.
Delivery costs can set you back around £30 though - if you're buying an item that's only £9 it isn't worth it.
Luckily, you can get free delivery if you spend over £100.
Products on offer
Homebase regularly runs offers on multiple products.
It's currently got Westland Jack's Magic All Purpose Compost on sale for £10, but you can get two for £16.

It's probably more worthwhile going for already discounted products, as if they've already been reduced it means staff might be willing to go further.
What not to buy
Homebase lets you return the vast majority of its products within 30 days - given they are in resalable condition - and you should get a full refund.
However, there are certain items excluded from the policy - kitchen and bathroom products.
Homebase's website says: "Our kitchens, bathrooms, and concession items with independent payment systems are excluded from Homebase returns.
"Aside from these, our general policy is if the item is returned in resalable condition within 30 days, we can refund you the full amount."
