I won £100,000 on People’s Postcode Lottery & I’ll spend my winnings on Turkey teeth op to look like Rylan Clark

A MAN who won £100,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery says he’ll spend his winnings on a teeth op in Turkey to look like Rylan Clark.

Gav Meek, 46, shared a joint prize of £1million with eight neighbouring homes in the Nottinghamshire village of Boughton.

Their road scooped this week’s Millionaire Street jackpot – with mechanic Gav revealing how he plans to spend his share.

He told : “I’m going to Turkey to get some teeth. I’m going to look like Rylan.

“This morning, I was at work on minimum wage, doing loads of overtime and now I’ve got a hundred grand.

“It’s life-changing. I’m a level three mechanic and I only need a few more tools and a van and I can be a mobile mechanic.”

Gav’s partner Mandy Birtley, 49, was on the verge of cancelling her ticket – before he persuaded her to keep playing.

The couple plan to make a holiday out of Gav’s trip to Turkey for dental work – and buy their son his first car.

Boughton is on the edge of Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest – with the People’s Postcode Lottery once again bringing riches to its band of merry men (and women).

Mum-of-three Kelly Leah, 39, won £200,000, a fifth of the massive jackpot.

She said that when her husband Barry heard the news, he became so emotional he had to pull over his car.

Ruby and Jim Lafferty, both 82, won £100,000 in the Millionaire Street draw.

Jim said: “I’ve always said to my family that I’ll live to 100 and it’s definitely my lucky number now.

“I honestly would have been chuffed with £100.”

Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “We had a brilliant day in Boughton surprising eight lucky players.

“There was a real community spirit on Manvers View as loads of neighbours gathered to cheer on the winners.

“It’s incredibly special to see neighbours winning together. But local charities in Nottinghamshire also have something to celebrate, thanks to our players.

“People’s Postcode Lottery players have raised more than £1.1 billion for charities and thousands of local good causes.

“Neighbours win and charities win. That’s what we’re all about.”

It comes after an expert revealed the scratchcard which gives you the best chance of winning – but there’s a catch.

A EuroMillions lottery winner who scooped a whopping £108million jackpot has revealed the first things he bought.
