SHOPPERS are only just realising that JD Sports' summer sale is still on - with up to 50% off Adidas, Nike and Puma favourites.

The chain is still holding a half-price sale online and in store after it was launched last month - with fans flocking to pick up bargains before it's too late.

You could get 54% off Puma Nitro Eng trainers, 60% off Nike Zoom Mercurial Vapor shoes or 61% off a Adidas Response CL pair.

In the women's department, shoppers can get 57% off Adidas cycle shorts, 54% off Nike Varsity Joggers and 52% off Puma running tights.

There are also collectors' items up for grabs like an Adidas Celtic woolie hat, which is 48% off, and half-price all terrain Crocs.

The news that the sale is still running will come as a relief to shoppers who had previously flooded JD Sports' social media asking when it will end.

Fashion fans are also going wild after JD Sports slashed the price of the trendy New Balance trainers by more than 50 per cent as part of the sale.

One of those to spot the bargain sale was an anonymous Facebook user who shared the delightful news on .

According to the shopper, they had popped into their local JD Sports store in Bournemouth when they saw the stylish footwear going for a mere £30.

As the original price was £70, the lucky customer had saved £40 with the purchase.

Chuffed with the find, the person showed off the new trainers in , writing: ''My bargain from JD Bournemouth today.''

The snap soon went viral, racking up a whopping 1.2k likes from fellow fashionistas, as hundreds flocked to comments.
