CHRISTMAS is now just a couple of weeks away and if you haven’t started your shopping yet you might be beginning to panic.
But don't fret because you still have time to place your orders online and still get them delivered in time for the big day.
While last minute gifting might get you the best deals, you don't want to leave it too late or you'll end up with nothing to give on Christmas day.
But if cutting it fine is your style, you may be stung with higher delivery costs as retailers charge more to get your goods to you on time with shorter notice.
We've put together the ultimate guide to how late you can leave placing your online orders from high street stores and supermarkets and still get it delivered in time for Christmas.
Whilst it pays to be organised, these are the key dates for your diary to make sure you get those last minute gifts delivered on time.
Amazon
Amazon offer a range of delivery services, including their premium Prime service which promises to delivery your goods by the follow day for free.
Some retailers offer free delivery to non-Prime members too but it will take three to five working before you will receive your order.
Standard delivery costs between 99p and £3.99 depending on what your order is. They also offer priority and express delivery for a higher cost.
For standard free deliveries you have until December 21 to place your order, while for express deliveries - which cost up to £6.49 - you have until December 23.
You can get Prime for free for the festive season by signing up to a month's free trial, but you'll need to cancel it before the month is up or you'll be charged the full £79 for the year.
It's worth setting a calendar reminder on your phone.
Argos
Fast-track same day delivery is available right up until 6pm on Christmas Eve. It costs £3.95.
Asda
Christmas delivery slots are available until December 23. They're going quickly though so you’ll need to get a move on to bag a space.
You can amend your order right up until the night before delivery so it's worth ordering even just the basics and adding to it later to secure a delivery time.
Festive foods need to be ordered by December 15.
ASOS
Standard delivery at ASOS is free if you spend over £20 (or else costs £3) and you’ve got until December 19 to get your orders in.
Next day delivery is open until the December 23, but it will set you back £5.95. But if you spend more than £100 and enter the discount code NEXTDAY you can get it free.
Boden
Get your order in by midnight on the 20 December for standard delivery at Boden, which costs £4.
Alternatively you have until December 22 for express delivery which costs £8.
Burton
Standard delivery at Burton is free when you spend over £30, otherwise it costs £3.95, and you have until 19 December to get your orders in.
The final day for next day delivery, which costs £5.95, is December 22.
Currys/PCWorld
Picking up some electronics? You’ve got until December 20 to enjoy free standard delivery.
Last minute shoppers have until 8pm on December 23 for large items which will set you back £9.99, or 1pm on December 24 for small items, costing £9.95.
Debenhams
Your last chance for standard orders at Debenhams is midnight on December 18. It’s free when you spend over £45 and £3.49 for more expensive orders.
Alternatively you have until December 22 for next day delivery, which will set you back up to £6.99.
Ernest Jones
Buying some bling for a loved one? For free standard delivery you need to get your order in by December 20 and spend £100 or more, or else it will cost you £3.
Next day delivery is available until December 22 and costs £5.
Feelunique
Delivery at feelunique is free when you spend over £15, otherwise it costs from £3.95. Shoppers have until December 20 to place orders and get their goods before Christmas.
Otherwise there's next day delivery which is available until 21 December and costs up to £8.95.
H.Samuel
With H.Samuel you can enjoy standard delivery on orders placed before December 22 and it won’t cost you a penny so long as you spend at least £49.
Otherwise it will set you back £2.95. Express delivery is available until December 23 and costs £4.95.
H&M
Standard delivery costs £3.99 but you can get it for free when you spend over £50 if you use the code 6071. Make sure your order is in by December 20.
Or you opt for next day delivery until December 22 but that will cost £5.99.
Harvey Nichols
Eyeing up gifts from Harvey Nicks? Standard delivery is available until December 18 and costs £6. Order express delivery until December 20 but it will set you back £10.
House of Fraser
Standard delivery is available until December 18 at House of Fraser. It’s free if you spend over £50 or else costs £3.95.
Or if you leave it late, the last chance for next day delivery is December 22.
John Lewis
For standard deliveries, get your orders in by December 19. It’s free when you spend over £50, otherwise it costs £3.50. Next day delivery costs £6.95 and is open until December 22.
The retailer has also announced that it will extend its Click & Collect order cut off by 24 hours to Saturday 23rd December at 8pm.
This will allow customers to collect their parcels in John Lewis shops until they close on Christmas Eve.
The shops will all be open as usual on Christmas Eve in accordance with normal Sunday opening times.
Marks & Spencer
For standard delivery at M&S you need to place your order by 18 December. It’s free on orders of more than £50, otherwise you’ll need to pay £3.50.
For next day delivery that order needs to be in by December 22 and it costs £3.99.

Miss Selfridge
At Miss Selfridge you have until 19 December to place orders for standard delivery. It’s free if you spend over £40 otherwise you’ll need to pay £4.
Alternatively, there’s the express home delivery which costs £6, or it's free on orders over £70. You can place orders until December 22.
Morrisons
If you’re getting your groceries in from Morrisons, then you can make the most of delivery slots right up until Christmas Eve.
Bear in mind though that if you want a delivery on Christmas Eve, you can’t make any changes to your order from December 21 onward.
New Look
Standard deliveries at New Look are free so long as you spend over £50, otherwise you'll need to fork out an extra £3.99 on top of your order.
Get your order in by 21 December to make sure it arrives for Crimbo.
Leaving it late again? You have until December 23 to grab next day delivery. It’s free if you spend over £100, otherwise you’ll have to fork out £5.99.
Returns and refunds
DON'T worry if you make a hash of your presents as most retailers offer a refunds or exchanges on unwanted Christmas gifts.
Even so, it’s important to remember that they're only legally obliged to do so if the item is faulty or unfit for purpose.
Normally you only have 28 days to return non-faulty goods but often over the Christmas period most shops will extend this.
Remember to bring the receipt with you as well as the card you use to pay for your goods if you want a refund.
In some cases you might need to produce the original packaging too so it's worth checking the retailer's website before you set off to the shops.
Office
Looking to kick off the New Year with a new pair of shoes? Standard delivery is free on full price items. otherwise £3.50 otherwise, and is open until December 19.
Or if time is a bit short there’s next day delivery which costs £5 and is available until December 21.
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s delivery slots open until December 23 but this is the busiest time of the year so they're likely to be snapped up quickly.
Delivery is free on shopping over £100, with orders below £40 coming with a massive £7 charge. Otherwise the fee you pay will depend on the slot you pick.
Snapfish
You’ve got until December 20 to get your Snapfish orders in to ensure the pressie arrives before the big day.
Tesco
Picking something up from Tesco Direct? You’ll need to order by December 17 for standard delivery or December 21 for next day. Delivery costs vary depending on what items you’re ordering.
Food deliveries are open until December 23 for most stores but some offer the service on Christmas Eve too , but you need to get your orders in as soon as possible as slots go quickly.
Food orders need to be in by the 15 December.

Get your order in by December 20 for standard delivery from Urban Outfitters.
It’s free if you spend over £30, or else it will cost £3.99. You can get express delivery until December 21 although this costs a bit extra at £5.99.
Waterstones
If you're looking for a bestselling book to hunker down to over the festive season, you need to place your order by December 19 for free delivery, as long as you spend over £20, otherwise it costs £2.75.
Last-minute orders need to be placed by December 21 and don’t come cheap - you’ll have to fork out £7.95.
Waitrose
Delivery slots are available now, up until Christmas Eve,, but you need to order your turkey by December 15.
