Shoppers flock to buy hazelnut spread from Asda and say it’s just like ‘discontinued’ favourite
SHOPPERS are rushing to Asda to nab a spreadable sweet treat and people say it tastes just like a Morrisons 'discontinued' favourite.
Asda fans have been lapping up its new irresistibly sweet Hazelnut Praline spread.
The £2 jar is packed with hazelnuts infused with cocoa and vanilla extract for a unique flavour.
It provides around 23 servings from one 350g jar and can be used on breads and pastries and is suitable for vegetarians.
One happy customer rushed to Facebook to let others know the new treat was on supermarket shelves.
In the group, she said: “ New in Asda £2 Tastes very similar to the discontinued Morrisons hazelnut spread!"

The post racked up over 100 impressions in just a few hours and people say they are looking forward to trying the new spread.
One user said: “Worth a look.”

Many group members were trying to determine if the new hazelnut spread tasted similar to a Morrion’s favourite.
The Morrisons Hazelnut White Chocolate Spread flew off shelves, so you were lucky to even get your hands on it.
Some fans believe the spread has since been discontinued but Morrisons has confirmed this is not the case though they are experiencing temporary supply issues.
The £2.50 jar was beloved by customers since its release in 2019.
The fan favourite was known for having a distinct flavour that was similar to Kinder Bueno chocolate.
Many shoppers are eager to find out if Asda’s latest release will have the same taste.
One user asked: “So does that mean it tastes like kinder Bueno?”
Another said: “Kinder bueno spread.”
