SHOPPERS are rushing to buy Squishmallows at a popular store after it announced a buy one and get 50 per cent off deal.

Cuddly Squishmallows toys are being offered as discounts, prompting a customer surge at budget jewellery chain Claire’s Accessories.

The popular plush furry dolls include creatures such as koalas and unicorns, as well as Harry Potter-themed versions.

There are 800 different characters to choose from and has now revealed how you can buy one and get a second for half-price.

The toys have been deemed safe for kids of all ages, made from non-toxic polyester and with no small parts nor choking hazards.

Versions include ones based on Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and girlfriend Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh‘s pal Tigger and Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story films.

Other characters include multi-coloured hippos, hedgehogs and a backlit orange named Barnet.

It was revealed last week how mums were adding Squishmallows to Hallowe’en hampers for their kids.

There has also been excitement about McDonald’s providing Squishmallows with Happy Meals.

Supermarket chain Asda put the furry toys on sale for half-price earlier this year to popular acclaim.

Meanwhile, a mum picking up a rare teddy bear at a car boot sale this summer sold it on for an eye-watering price.

That came after a Doctor Who superfan revealed the vast treasure trove of memorabilia he has built up over 30 years.
